I am rather proud of this. I cut up an old yoga mat to make a no slip work space! 

It worked fantastically and I could tell Max was a lot more comfortable too.

Goodness, I hope my photo taking improves! I changed angles, turned lights on, turned lights off...give me time. I was pretty happy with Max's cut today. This is my first time trying something other than a puppy cut (all same length). My seam blending obviously needs some work, but not a bad first try! 

I also thinned out the hair on his face to leave more space for his eyes.

I have my blending shears to thank for my very first grooming injury! 

(I saved you the gory details, but it was pretty bad.) 

At least my nails look great!
